Legend has it that back in 1915, Pear’s founder Pierre Herman started roasting nuts like never before… and when the name “Pierre Herman” was confused for “Pear Herman” by a U.S. customs official, it stuck. We’re not mad about it – over the past 100 years, it’s kind of grown on us.
